Thanks all. I ended up getting the 47cm one along with a chimney starter, 12 kg of weber charcoal and some wood chips for around £330 delivered.

I've just spent the last half hour putting it together and other than the lack of instructions as to where the fibre washers go it was a painless build ...

Thanks for the welcome. I'll get the 47cm ordered then, there seem to be a few good deals on at the moment.

There appears to be two models of the maverick that I can see the ET732 and ET733 is it worth the extra cash for the 733?

Anything else I need to pick up other than the above + charcoal ...

Just discovered this forum the other day whilst researching smokers in an effort to find myself a new hobby to go along side brewing beer.

I'm a first time smoker and currently trying to decide between getting a 37cm or 47cm WSM. Also looking for a good wireless probe if anyone can recommend one ...
