Had my first go on my 57cm weber yesterday didn't go too well. The charcoal went out fairly quickly I made the error I think top vent wasnt open

Big k lumpwood fir fuel. I used my chmney to heat it up. I probably got 15-20mins roughly before they were near enough cold.

HI there ya'll...recently got meself a weber kettle tried for the first time this evening only to discover that the lumpwood had almost all gone before the food was cooked. I heated the coals with my old chimney had the bottom vent open and the top partially yet it'd almost all gone :cry: .
