hello again,

charcola all sorted, bookers restaurant grade, i've heard that the q with charcoal started with a chimney of heatbeads is the way to go, what, in your opinion, is the preferred brand and where from? i'm also having problems sourcing wood chunks, i know what i want - hickory and oak to start with, but can't seem to source. any help, as ever, gratefully received.

thanks for your help, you have been a great help so far.

Best to do a search, but we have used the chaps from http://bbqsmokingwood.co.uk/. Quality products at reasonable prices. As for charcoal, once again, worth a search, we also use the restaurant grade stuff but would love to give other charcoals a go if we could source them at more reasonable prices
