Big_Fat_Dan, it was truly a weekend of pure testosterone. Unfortunately the pork had a negative impact on my ability to play football. Might as well give it up, it's wasting time that would be better spent cooking and eating meat
I'm new to smoking so safe to ignore my advice, but if you have a kettle grill I'd give it a go as Joe says. The thing I smoked on was the crappiest old kettle you'll ever come across, the meat was too big, the grill was too small, the coals were too close....but somehow, SOMEHOW the meat Gods smiled upon me and it worked.
