Always had regular charcoal and gas BBQ's but had never even heard of smoking until I went to Grillstock a few years ago then the bug hit! I started out with a really cheap brinkmann which I modified, it was fine for ribs but found it to hard to maintain temps for longer cooks so I've just bought a GMG pellet grill which I'm really happy with.
