Hello,

Been hanging around here for a while now, and thought it was time to join and say hello.

I have a weber kettle, and get some great results from it. Had a party the other month and cooked pulled pork, as well as burgers, sausages and chicken while the pork was resting.

After reading threads on here i used the minion method with aussie heat beads and managed a 10 hour cook low and slow before stoking it up to grill the burgers etc. Had to get up at 4.30 to start it off, and it rained from about 10 on, so was stuck under an umbrella all day. but was well worth it the pork turned out great, and we had a barrel of local ale, so a good time was had by all.

was planning on taking photos of the cook to post but it was just so hectic didn't get a chance, mybe next time.

Ed.

Alright Ed!?

Local Ale - is that from the Iceni Brewery?

This place is good, a lot of good people who'll offer advice and help but without any of the macho BS! :D

No, it was Woodfordes Sundew, localish, but a great summer ale.

I live about 3 miles from Britians biggest beer shop, so have little problem getting hold of the odd ale or 2 :D
