Beginner's first attempt at smoking a pork shoulder

Hey,

This weekend I attempted smoking my first 'boston butt'. Although I'm not entirely sure I had the correct cut of meat. It was called a pork shoulder and I bought it from Tescos.

I pretty much followed the BBQ pitboys recipe on youtube.

Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos after cooking, but it had a lovely smoke ring. Yet didn't pull very well.

Its as close as you can get from a supermarket, looks like you got some great color on there!
