Help with a Maverick reading

Doing a practice turkey today to make sure I don't ruin Christmas dinner and the probe in the bird's breast is reading LLL.
While outside the WSM waiting patiently for it's charge to arrive the probe was reading fine.
Any ideas?

I don't have a Maverick, but do have a domestic probe thermometer which sometimes does this. In the past I have had some success with "shocking" it i.e. putting the probe in hot water then in ice. Other than that take the batteries out, give it 5 minutes and try again. Sorry if this doesn't help much.

Thanks Keith, it has just kicked in by itself.
My guess is I didn't leave the bird out of the fridge for long enough and the LLL meant its temp was below the lower tolerance temp of the probe.
