Drip Tray query

Hi Guys.
First question of possibly many, and probrably a dopy one, but here goes!
Got a free weber drip tray with my one touch, but it is the disposable variety. Tesco have cheap (97p) trays with a non-stick lining abou the same size. I was thinking of using one of these, lined with foil so I could just pour the drippings into a pan for sauces/gravy. Would the heat of the coals burn the non-stick and cause fumes?
Not bothered about the non-stick getting knackered up as I am lining it anyway, but more worried about the toxic side of things.
Thanks!
