Hi All,

I've spotted in our local paper, and now follow Blue's SmokeHouse on Twitter @BluesSmokehouse, as a new restaurant is opening up in March (I think) in Bracknell, Berkshire (old Red Lion pub).

They just tweeted that they have in the team the only non-american grand champion title winner of the Jack Daniels world BBQ, sounds good to me! I had a look on the Jack Daniel's site and all the winners listed up to 1989 seem to be American!

Anyhow I'll be checking it out once it opens...

Was the Red Lion the one in the centre of town?

Excellent - I'll keep an eye out for the opening day

that would be Jackie Weight, who won it in 2003. Just checked, I cant see it opening that soon as they arent expecting planning to be granted until March. Will have to wait an see!

so the only reason to ever go to Bracknell will have to wait

Back in the day, i went to Arborfield, Bordon, Aldsershot and surrounding areas. Bracknell was to go to Dell. I quite liked the Coppid beech.

Wow you have seen all of the beautiful sights. Used to work at Dell and Fujitsu and interviewed for both in the Coppid Beach - small world

My last visit to Dell was in Amsterdam, they moved from Bracknell because it was cheaper..All the other places were military
