What my wife often exclaims whenever I am left alone too long anywhere near a good BBQ store...

Following a request in the New members forum to see photos I have pulled together some of my smokers in action...

My original red Weber imported from the USA as hand luggage in 1997 (thank you BA).

Here you see it about 3 months ago cooking its final Rib Roast before one of its leg struts rusted through and it finally died on me. Up till then it was used regularly all year throughout its life and has had many a Christmas turkey roasted in it.
Note the Weber Style thermometer - not the most reliable of wireless thermometers I am sad to say as it keeps losing connection even at this close range. I have 2 of them and they both have the same problem so I fear that it may be a design fault.

My New Braunfels smoker - imported from Texas in 1999. This has been great for taking to local events and giving people the taste of authentic BBQ. It was helping to feed the crowds at the Woodchurch air show "Wings & Things" for several years.

My two remaining Webers both roasting pork joints in the rain last month at the Woodchurch Museum open day and "Antiques Roadshow".

On the left is my older 57cm Weber - now nearly 10 years old and still looking as good as new - though recently requiring the bottom vents replacing. On the right my most recent addition - a Weber 67cm - bought to replace my old deceased red 57cm. What a beast!

Here is the smoker I had built a couple of years ago. Modelled on my old Klose BBQ, this is perfect for slow cooking large quantities of brisket, ribs, chicken, sausages or smoling salmon.

Below you can it at the end of my garden just after it had been used to smoke some brisket. If you look carefully you can see the two Webers behind it in their green covers and my first attempt at a home made smoker on the right.
