New to really nice food on the BBQ

Postby savski » 02 Sep 2011, 14:46

Hey everybody

So, I have actually joined a forum, as i usually just look through other peoples questions and answers.

I really have got the BBQ bug bad this year, I'm not sure if my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy or if she is going to kill me for it, at the moment i seem to be fending her off with some tasty food!

I have purchased three BB-Q's this year, and along with accessories has cost a pretty penny, well to me it has.

First we got a Weber 47cm bar-b-kettle, then a Weber Smokey Joe original and finally a Weber 57cm one touch premium, with a few accessories along the way, ha, maybe i am a little crazy.

I mostly use the 47 as its the perfect size for our needs, although I wasn't happy with the height or the lack of workspace so i bought a table cut out a hole and put in the 47, which solved both of the problems.

So far this year have had some great BBQ's and i seem to be getting the hang of things, with a little help from all the experts on here.

I also noticed that there are a few people from Swindon, I live about 10 miles away from Swindon.

Anyway thanks for the help you have already given me, and the help i would like in the future.

Cheers

Craig

Welcome to the forum. You'll have to put some pictures of your 47 table up. Be prepared though your collection is bound to grow even more now you've joined the forum!!
