"phantom" new posts?

Post by wade »

Is it just me or are others seeing this too? I have recently received several notifications under "view new posts" for topics that do not appear to have been added to. The most recent one that I saw this morning was for the "Traeger Lil Tex - Pellet Cooker" thread however when I went there the latest posts appeared to be from 20th October 2009! WWWOOOOoooooooo

Yes - I checked both pages and even tried sorting the posts both ascending and descending to see if the new posts would bubble to the top. Working in I.T. I tried what I thought are the usual user mistakes when using forums but they were nowhere to be seen. I usually dont have a problem seeing the new posts but this is the 3rd time I have received notification on old threads where no posts appear to have been placed.

Oh well! maybe I just had a senior moment and could not see them for looking....

I Guess people could have blocked you........ either way very odd, could also be that the society user joined on 20th Oct 2009 so you may have glanced at the wrong date.
