Hi y'all

Hiya,

Just a quick note to say hi! My name's Charlie and i'm based in sunny Brighton and after several trips to mates in Houston and a fair few orders from BBQ Shack i've decided to give this smoking thing a go. I'm quite adept in the kitchen and look forward to expanding my skills outside!

Also, i'm just about to move out of my tiny and gardenless flat to a house with a garden - i've told the wife that a condition of me moving is that we can get a big ol bbq as soon as we get in - tho luckily since she's a big fan as well, it didnt take much persuasion!

Initally I was looking at an offset, but from reading these posts, im swaying towards either the proq excel or the wsm - the move is looking to be about a month, so a little while to soak up more info!

Anyways - look forward to chatting to you all!

Welcome to the forum. You can't go wrong with a vertical smoker, I have a WSM and would recommend it to anyone, not that there's anything wrong with the ProQ I just preferred the Weber
