How much and whats best for Babybacks

How much and whats best for Babybacks

Got my wood today from paul ive been to costco and got 8 racks of babybacks
whats best wood to use Oak?
and how much should i use was thinking of 2.5hr smoke 1hr foil 1hr bk on uds with bbq s to set
was goin to do 3,2,1 but babys should not take as long.

My family likes apple for baby backs, nice and subtle, 3 golf ball sized pieces, I tend to go for 4 hours (pass the bend test) without foil. Smoke is subjective, my advise is start with less and add more on the next cook, nothing puts other people off you food quicker (and the potential to cook for them again) than food that tastes like an ash tray!

i have never done baby bk as this is my first smoker only ribs done are the ones from asda and thrown on grill in summer
so thanks for the advice, i think i will do without the foil as there more tender than the normal ribs,
what do u do with yours JEC do u baste em with bbq s ever hr or spritze with apple juice or just leave em.

I tend to spritz or mop hourly and then glaze about 20 minutes before I take them off the smoker.

the taste test well i would have sent ya some but ssrry to say they went down
so fast i carnt wait to make more .:) and just the right amount of smoke Perfect
not fall off bone Bite of bone like compo ribs :) :)
