Don't bother, they suck.
Get yourself Some of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sistema-Klip-It ... 720&sr=1-2
They keep rub fresh for ages, add a little dried rice in some muslin cloth and you'll have no caking at all.
Great thing with the one in the link is its big enough to get your hand in and your hand is the best rub sprinkler money can buy.
I've tried loads of different storage pots and jars and these things kick the ass of every other type I've used.

If you do want a couple of shakers I can send you a couple. They'll need to be washed out and the labels removed but they'll be functional.

After the butt rubbing, chicken jerking thread I was just reading I don't think I can cope with the possible innuendo in that post
If you've got a local TK Maxx they often ave the sistema containers in for £4.

Quite agree especially taken into consideration other threads whereby people thread nipples and screw them
Thanks for the link as well, I've been using these and similar for storage glad to see I was on the right track never thought of rice in a muslin cloth, I've used loose it in S&P shakers, it's safer then the dessication pouches cheers

If you do still want 'shaker type' tubs. An 'All weather Griller' tip to me was buy the big tubs of bay leaves from Makro (about a quid or so). Put the bay leaves in a bag and hey presto the container is perfect. I use these for all of my rubs.
