A friend of mine has got themselves a cactus jack and they're asking me for advise on what to cook which is fine but i was wondering if there are any easy modifications that can be made that will make it slightly easier to use as they don't have much experience with fire control?
John, Scott, did either of you make any mod's to your CJ's?

John is best man for advice as he has far more experience than me but mine did have a honeycomb heat sheild between the firebox and cooking chamber and these kept my cooking heat at 230 perfectly. You can still get one from Cactus Jack in europe i think the website is cactus-jack.com No other mods needed in my opinion.
