Great thanks Aide. Still got a few small gaps but that says more about my DIY skills than the sealant  Still got loads left in the tube so will be having another go this week.

That's cool, I'm about ready to redo the seals on mine now. I have an 18th this weekend for a mates daughter and then I think I will strip the sealant back and reapply.

Let me know if it helps improve your temp control.

Cheers

Will do. I was hoping to test it last Sunday but i had an absolute nightmare!! Coals wouldnt light, took me about 90 mins to light 1 chimney, then when i finally got them lit i knocked them all over my decking  Q me running around looking for a bucket before it caught fire. Then ran out of coal so just gave up cos it was getting late. Ended up cooking the ribs in the oven, no doubt that wont be the last time

Hope your party goes well. How many people you catering for?

Craig
