Hello All,
I have been grilling/braaing for as long as I can remember, being a South African this is part in parcel of what we do sun, rain snow( got pic to prove it:))
currently I am using a Weber 57cm and a old broken down Outback gas thingy.I prefer charcoal/wood as my cooking method over gas.
I am looking to get hold of a smoker and give that a try, once government (wife) has given approval:))

Welcome! Plenty of information on various different smokers on here. Lots of people using Weber's Smokey Mountain (WSM) - this place seems to have consistently good deals & customer service from reports on here: http://www.garden4less.co.uk/
A fair few people have joined recently having purchased offset smokers from ebay too.
Spent our honeymoon in South Africa - loved it. Traveled along the South Coast (West to East) - last few days in Port Elizabeth in an apartment overlooking the beach & sea with a first floor brai (sp?) on the balcony - awesome way to cook & the seafood was soooo good.
