Out of interest....

- what price, roughly, would these be?
- am i correct in thinking there are two grates?
- what size are the grates?
- what temp gauges are you using?

Cheers,

Simon

I don't know about space in your garden Simon, but I've worked out there is probably enough room on your tag-line for them :D

I havn't worked out prices yet, I needto cover my time and the cost of parts etc, but would like to offer them to members at a fair price to all.
Yes, the ones I have built all have two grates, but I am looking at building some with one grate and a flat lid, due to probs sourcing 57cm kettle lids.
The grates are 56cm, and the temp gauges are from e-bay, but I have equired about some from a specialist supplier in Bristol.

I have passed these plans onto a local fabricator, they can make them out of thicker steel than the drums.
They will give me an estmate, when this is done, but a one off would be expensive!
It would be cheaper if a few were commisioned.
