Hello all.
Anyone know if the bk rotisserie would fit a weber kettle? Mine died recently and the replacement from weber is £15

The weber motor unit is only £15
that IMO is a bargain what is the price difference between the BK & Weber? It can't be much if the BK unit is any good. At £15 I'd go with the Weber as the mounting slot is designed for it and no amount of tinkering would get the same fit on the weber ring. Mind you that's at my level of tinkering

Thanks for the reply.
I meant to say it was £159 for the replacement.

That's the price of the full rotisserie kit, the ring, the spit, balance weight and motor. Was this from Weber UK or a dealer?
Re: Broilking spit on a weber ?
This was a uk dealer. And it didn't include the ring, not seen that for sale over here before.
I know BK do an adapter set and with the motor being so cheap, I thought it may be worth a try.

You need the adaptor ring to give it sufficient height, and to mount the unit to. The picture shows the Weber rotisserie fitted to my Ascona, with the ribolater. As you can see the ring gives it the necessary height.

I do have the ring. I had it imported.
I wouldn't be able to use the spit otherwise
.
Thanks for the info. I think I'll have to get in touch with Broil King themselves.
