And yes I did say that and endorse it fully.
Wrong time of year, or am I just really bad at temp control?

Are there any of those forced air systems usable with the standard Weber Kettle? Been thinking about one, but not sure if it'd fit

Yep
Pretty much all of them, it's only really the adaptor that is specific. Considering a second adapter for my OTG but will probably make one rather than go to the expense of shipping, pretty simple. Unless of course I treat myself
to a complete 2nd unit that way I can have kettle and wsm or even "Henry" on the go at the same time

Just be aware that all of the systems will require you to drill a hole into your kettle to fit the adapter, personally not something i would want to do.MrJaba wrote:Are there any of those forced air systems usable with the standard Weber Kettle? Been thinking about one, but not sure if it'd fit
Personally if i didn't have one to begin with i'd spend the money getting a dedicated smoker and then worry about other toys.

The Ique certainly fits the ProQ without drilling and the website states it fits the Weber Kettle & WSM without tools. The bolt to hold the adaptor on fits through the bottom vent.

Cool I'll check out the ique, but it's a fair point I should probably invest the money in a WSM or something and then buy the gadgets!

I bought an IQUE 110 controller off of another forum member, I can use it on my UDS with an adapter and also on both my WSM 18.5 and my 22.5 kettle just by drilling out a Fray and Bentos snake and pigmy pudding tin and attaching it to the bottom vent with some cheap heatproof metalic tape.
Works a good un!!
Cheers
