and now its chipped in a few places. :cry:
Does anyone know of any suitable "touch up" paint I could repair the enamel with.

I think there was a thread covering this a while ago, off the top of my head I think it came down to stove paint.

Thanks for that, I was searching for "enamel" and never found it.

That article still infers you shouldnt touch the procelain lid. I have written to Weber, to see what they suggest.
I have found this which may work for the deep chips that have exposed the metal.

I was walking through wilkinsons and they had a BBQ black spray paint. Don't know if that might be worth a look?

Thanks Eddie, but I am looking more for some paint to fill the chips, rather than spray the hood. I will give that stuff from Halfords a go, see what happens.

Daft suggestion, try a reclaimers yard, they have to fill in chips in enamal baths and may be able to offer advice.
