Hello from Taunton
Hi fellow Q friends.
Well I have been a foodie for some time hence the ever growing waistline.
Last December I went out and brought myself a Pro Q Excel and now I am hooked big time.
Ill be going Grillstock this year as a guest as I fancy taking part in the competition side of things. Also ill be hoping to cook at the Dorset Chilli cook off later in the year.
The Grassroots, Shake and Sauce - comp, Ill love to take part as well as still much to learn, But I cant find where its being held?
One thing I cant seem to find restaurant grade lumpwood, without having to buy in bulk any help or ideas be grand.
Oh I have set up a Facebook page this week and building the website so can showcase my success and shortcomings.
Please feel free to like link below

Hi there,
Welcome - great hobby huh?!
Re: charcoal - u can get stuff from Makro or similar stores (in store & delivered from Makro I think) as well as Big K - minimum order 2 bags I think from their website.
Looking forwards to seeing some of your cooks.

Re: Hello from Taunton
Thanks all for the replys.
@Toby I cant find the dates for The Mayhem in May comp ? as I need to find out if can get the time of work.( I work weekends)
@KamadoSimon and tommo666 thanks for the help, for some reason when I went on the Big K site I can only buy a Pallet must of been looking the wrong place.
Was looking at Liverpool wood the other day but they seemed better if you went bulk with them, to keep the costs down.
