Having followed the competition circuit around for the 18 months for work. I took the decision to compete this year.
I will be a one man team under the name Hammer + Tongs
I am currently doing a full competition practice as I type. Just stopped for a cuppa and thought I should take the plunge and finally sign up.

Re: Hello from Worthing
Hi Toby,
I got my meat from Roberts, thanks for the heads up. Still had a couple of ribs left bfrom a Bookers box.
Brisket trimmed and injected, (first attempt)
2 pork shoulders done,
12 chicken thighs done. Scrapped skin on 6 to see what difference it makes.
It is freezing here. Had a couple of snow flurries.
Good learning curve though. Making a list of items I could still do with

Thanks, I will let you know. But I think I have the big stuff. It's just the small stuff that could be a right pain if you're stuck in a field.

Welcome to the forum fella, nice to hear that more people are interested in competing. Interesting logo, is it reference to a football team by any chance??

Yes it is a reference to a certain football team. Just don't hold it against me
