Simple ribs

Post by JEC »

Picked up two racks of baby back ribs at the butcher as a freebie the other week, cooked them with a simple rub of garlic, ground onion, smoked paprika, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Smoked for 4 hours and then basted in Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce that I found in my local Tesco, repeated baste for another two times and then pulled off the grill to serve

Really impressed, perfect bite and the sauce was really good considering it came from Tesco!!

They look good, I would be happy with them. How do you rate the SBR sauce?

Thanks. We really liked it, maybe a bit sweet for some but had a nice little kick to it which helped

Sounds good - they have some in Costco at the moment so I might just have to pick some up, along with the ribs they do...
