Hello from Dorset

Post by Steve237 »

Hello,

Hi, I'm Steve and I live on the Dorset coast. I recently bought a kamado Joe classic and have so far done about five cooks with it. I am very new to kamado cooking having spent all of last year thinking about it (and saving up the pennies) but so far so good, no disasters .
I have done the bbq thing for years but decided I really wanted to take things to another level and get a bit more serious about it. It was the right choice for me as kamado cooking is just wonderful. Last Sunday I cooked a stuffed leg of lamb for five people and it was amazing. I just would never of done that before.
Anyway enough about me, is anybody else out there into kamado's ? It would be grate to know that I am not alone.

Hi Steve, Just ordered my Kamado Joe Classic. I'm also completely new to Kamado cooking. Very excited and looking forward to it. Any advice regarding extras that I may need to get going?

Thanks
