Probe advice

Post by Clownfish »

Hi guys ,
First post so please go easy.
I've just managed to get my hands on the 37 wsm as my intro in to smoking .
I had a go at a chicken yesterday and I realised how much I need a remote probe.
I can't afford another £45 on a maverick as the Mrs was not too chuffed with the £300 I dropped on the smoker.
I was just wondering if there was a reliable basic model people recommend. I'm not bothered about wireless only that I can check the internal temperature of the meat without removing the hood.
Thanks in advance.

Ikea

LIDL do a wireless one for 12.99 (I bought one about 3 years ago). Works well, but as with everything at Lidl - you have to buy it when it is on sale.
