Newbie from Aberdeenshire
Hi there! Came across this great site whilst researching smoker BBQ's (after watching BBQ Champ on TV!!) firstly I almost bought a £60 Bar-Be-Quick smoker/grill, then I noticed a £80 grill king oil drum smoker BBQ... then I stumbled across this site & started reading up on Weber's which sound great! But.... I'm lucky enough to have a welder/fabricator hubby & seriously fancy getting him started on a UDS project!!! Feeling excited!!!

Welcome Marie. Plenty of people on here have built UDS's. Read the posts and then ask questions. Good luck.

Completed a couple of UDS a couple of months ago, they are a great BBQ and a doddle to build. One you have the bits an bobs you can build one in half a day. That's with a burn out the day before!
