OK, I know this is a bit last year Masterchef fodder but I've been doing these for years and they always go down a storm....
Ingredients :
Chicken Breasts
Chorizo
Peppers
Onions
Marinade Ingredients :
EVOO
Lemon juice
Smoked paprika
Garlic powder (not salt)
Recipe :
Make marinade by mixing all the marinade ingredients together to make a kind of thick salad dressing consistency.
Thinly slice the chicken breasts, about 3mm thick
Thinly slice chorizo, about 3mm thick
Slice peppers and onions to the same size as the chicken and chorizo
Add all of the above to the marinade, mix well and refrigerate overnight
Cook :
Preheat charcoal grill
Make the kebabs by alternating the meat with the veggies packing them onto the skewers tightly
Heat the marinade to kill any nasties and use this to baste the kebabs whilst they cook
Chicken and Chorizo Kebabs
Re: Chicken and Chorizo Kebabs
Sounds tastey Marcus. would you recommend a replacement for chorizo if it can't be got?

Cheers Vic,
Yep, they do seem to be pretty well received
Not too sure about a substitute to the chorizo, but I guess any cured, fairly fatty "Continental" sausage would work or some really good dry bacon - it's all about the flavour leaching into each component of the kebab.
Have a go and let me know!

Re: Chicken and Chorizo Kebabs
Hey Matt,
No worries, to be honest I just grab a tupperware throw in the oil and lemon juice, mix it with a fork to emulsify then add enough of the paprika and garlic powder and whir it up a bit until it's the consistency of a thickish salad dressing.
