Anyone got this? First chapter (lesson) looks OK

http://www.lowslowbbq.com/

ISBN-10: 0762436093

Listed on Amazon

Might have to give it a punt, if nothing else it will give me something to read when I'm away with work next week, I doubt there's anything new in there but you never know!

I haven't got the book, but I did the Gary Wivviot 5 Easy Steps when I first got my WSM, they were posted on a website he had at the time.

It was very good.

This book is ideal for some who wants to get into LOW & SLOW BBQ. If you have just purchased a Pro Q or a WSM, I will send it to anyone who wants to read it.

Regards

Eddie.

Ordered it when you posted, cause it was dedicated to smoking and tried lesson 1 last weekend and it went well and that was even with my own homemade Mojo Criollo marinade.
Like the guy's tongue in cheek bossy style.
Great for someone like me, a beginner but I can see some of the more experienced guys perhaps not appreciating his "artistic" style.

Yes, the book had some good recipes in it, but it is a beginners guide. I haven't been cooking this method for long, but it was stuff that I've already read about.

Anyone just purchased a smoker, they are welcome to it.

I've got this book. Very much aimed at beginners. Also the writing style is very much "do exactly as I say, don't experiment, don't race ahead". Found it ok as a beginner to be honest but nothing particularly special. The book very much concentrates on fire control, though it has recipes its not a particularly good source for them.
