Hi All,found a lot of posts on here interesting so decided to sign up. Have loved grilling for years but has become trickier since losing my sight a few years ago.
Am interested in starting some "low and slow" or offset smoking, have fiddled with this using my 3 burner gas and a smoking pouch, but would like to do some more. I have read that most favour the Pro Q range, but a tad pricey, considering the tennessee smoker but although loads online I want to "feel the steel" before buying and I can find one miles of Portsmouth.
Any other suggestions? Final Q anyone know of a "talking" meat and / or temp probe?
Cheers Tiny8\

Hi and welcome to the forum
I think Weber do a talking thermometer though I've never used it myself.

Hi Tiny
Welcome, had a quick search & found a couple of talking thermometers but the reviews dont mention wether the menu & settings are spoken or just the final "meat is done" alert. Anyway links attached..........maybe one of the forum members or admin can help more.

Re: Hi all
Thanks folks,
solved the talking thermometer issue through the RNIB site, which I should have thought of really.
My search for a value smoker has not been so succesful, the good people of Landmann confirmed that I have virtually no chance of finding their tennessee smoker in the flesh so will have to take a punt online, any folk out there can offer me an alternative?
Cheers
