Hi everyone,
I’m a newbie based in London but originally from the North-East.
Currently, I am working on a business plan with the aim of setting up my own catering company- focusing on high quality burgers and sausages.
My inspiration has come from spending the past four years working in New Zealand and Australia where they certainly know how to perfect a gourmet burger! I was also involved with a sports club in Sydney where I saw first-hand the success a quality catering company can have on match day events. I’ve been to several events since returning, mainly cricket, where the standard of food has been woeful.
I recently purchased the NCASS guide to setting up a profitable mobile catering business which is a great read. My plan to begin with would to go for a stall style set up, rather than a traditional van.
It would be great to hear some insight into what BBQ grills people would suggest. I’m also particularly interested in the German style Schwenkgrills and if anyone had any experience with these it would be good to hear more.
Thanks

Can offer very little advice on this but one thing I would do is contact the local environmental health office to discuss your plans before they get too advanced as they are normally very helpful

Yep welcome indeed, the EHO contact is a good idea as RobinC says.
