My names James and I'm from Notts.
I've decided to get more into BBQ'ing this year. When I moved into my house 18years ago I had a brick BBQ built, just to house a simple grill and coal base.
I've been reading through the forums for the last couple of hours or so and realise how far away from BBQ'ing I really am.
I can see that most people hear are more into the smoking side of outdoor cooking goodness rather than grilling, would that be a fair assumption to make? Or do you guys do bigger meats, ribs etc in a smoker and grill other stuff for a BBQ get together?
I may try a UDS as it seems a good cheap place to start and seemingly gives some great results, and keep the brick grill for burgers, sausages and those, Sat afternoon "Oh yeah, weather is dry lets have a BBQ"
Cheers for now
