Hey its nice to be here!

Hi,

Just joined today, I've also just bought a Big Poppa's UDS kit. So i look forward to building that. I've been interested in BBQ for about 2yrs now, looked into various BBQ kits but it was the import costs that would kill the deal. So stumbling across the British BBQ society facebook page one day has really made my year!

I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions and learning from other peoples experiences over the course of a Novice BBQ tenure.

Welcome on board! I'm building a UDS at the mo too. Slow going though as don't get much time. Got drum ready. Ball valve n ports in. Got 1 grate yesterday, but at 25 quid I think I'm going to make the second. Lid done. Just need to make the fire basket n that's gonna take a while. Got all the bits together though. Never heard of the kits. Can I asl how much it was?

I love those Big Poppa Smokers kits. Make the UDS drums look awesome.
