Hello, barbeque fellows, I've just stumbled across this forum after doing many a minute's research on smoking my own meat. Had a half successful trial last summer with my gas BBQ and home-made smoker box, but a trip to the US in October last year made me seriously think about getting kitted up for some much better results this year.
So yes, that's me. I'm Dan and I want to cook meat in the garden. I'll now go and read the rest of the forum.
Welcome Daniel.
Yes its worth it:-). Spend plenty of time reading the forum. MOST of the your questions will already be answered. But always ask if you cant find it.

Changed the title for you, wouldnt want anyone to get offended.
Welcome to the forum!
I feel your pain, I admin a couple of forums and it's a constant battle to keep them out. I've found Q+A Captcha is very effective (when you set the question as something that can't be googled). But I digress...
Still reading lots of posts on here for more pointers on the process and equipment. Good stuff, hopefully there'll be some delicious cooked meats happening in my garden this year.
