Best price?
Hello all, i am looking to get a WSM asap and was looking online. The prices at the moment seem to be in the £315 region with free delivery. Thought this sounded reasonable, unless anyone can give me any advice on specific retailers that they could reccomend? Any advice would be welcome, thanks. It feels like Christmas and im 10 years old again, new toy !ha ha.

Re: Best price?
lol, I'm a lazy bugger, can't be bothered tendering to the fire temps and cleaning up the mess
would ideally like to use the wood chippings for smoke and the gas for heat

Joker Smoker replied...if that's the case you should consider a pellet smoker such as the Traeger which are currently available at knockdown prices.....if you're going to cook on gas I suggest you stay in the kitchen as the food will taste the same.....ain't sending none of my meat to Belsen...

Easy tiger, not everyone gets the Wigan sense of humour
That said vic, John makes a great point about pellet smokers being easy and convenient. Definitely a good option to consider.

Sorry to highjack your thread Patrick on WSM prices, but I missed this post by John. I'll start another thread on gas vs wood.joker smoker wrote:Vic wrote....lol, I'm a lazy bugger, can't be bothered tendering to the fire temps and cleaning up the mess would ideally like to use the wood chippings for smoke and the gas for heat
